Training materials organisation – We’ll tighten the links between trainer resources, participant notes, presentations, and more, making everything work together seamlessly.
Auto-upscaling desktops – If a participant or trainer’s machine ever runs short on CPU, RAM, or disk, the system will quietly add more resources on the fly, without pausing the session.
Real-time subtitles with translations – Picture an English-speaking trainer teaching Japanese participants: learners can read Japanese subtitles as the trainer speaks (available to customers who have opted into “Preview features”).
Real-time interpretation with AI – Going a step further, Japanese participants will be able to listen to a live Japanese voiceover, even though the trainer is speaking English.
Participant assistant – While working through labs, the system will actively guide learners, suggesting next steps or flagging mistakes and offering instant feedback whenever someone gets stuck. Think of it as a built-in helper—aka the Participant Assistant Agent. (Available in Preview features)
Statistics – Course coordinators and stakeholders will be able to track engagement and participation at a glance.
DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)
Public cloud – Today, DD4W is limited to private deployments. We’ll open it up as a public cloud service, so anyone can get started quickly.
Better encryption integration – At the moment, encryption is handled solely by the operating system. We’ll make it possible to integrate encryption directly with DaDesktop, including a graphical interface that removes the need to type a password into the machine (since the system already knows who you are).
Auto-switch remote replica – The system will automatically select the nearest replica to keep lag to a minimum and deliver a smoother experience.
DaDesktop Labs / Self-study
The system will give users clear feedback on their progress through a lab.
Creator studio – Lab authors can edit recordings online with ease, then sync them up with instructions, desktop templates, and other resources (already available in Beta).
