GPU support
DaDesktop offers two different methods for GPU support:
- Physical GPU pass-through (available only in certain data centres in Hong Kong). This gives you full hardware acceleration because it uses a real graphics card
- GPU simulation via LLVM Pipe. This runs smoothly on all our Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. However, at the moment, it doesn't work on Windows 10.
If you're uncertain whether your application needs a GPUâfor instance, Blender doesâyou might come across a message like this:
"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Install the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue"
