DaDesktop's Supported CPU Architectures: ARM and AMD64
DaDesktop provides ongoing support for the CPUs listed below, verified through automated build tests.
Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)
AMD
- AMD zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen),
- AMD zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 5 (ES, QS)
Several of our clients continue to use Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) processors.
Intel
- Xeon E3, Xeon E5, Xeon E7 v3 or newer (Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable
- i5, i7, i9 Haswell or newer
Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (Xeon E3, E5, E7) processors appear to run without issues, although they are not covered by our automated testing.
ARM
- AWS Graviton 1, Graviton 2, Graviton 3 and Graviton 4
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 or newer
- Kunpeng 920 or newer
The vast majority of other models perform well, particularly Apple Silicon. Get in touch with technical support if you need to check compatibility with your hardware.
Risc-V
This architecture should run smoothly, though we haven’t performed extensive testing on it.
