Installing DaDesktop On-premise (ddOP)
Hardware Requirements
| CPU |
Must be AMD64 architecture compatible The minimum we’ve tested with is an Intel Xeon E5-2600v2 series or later. For the best setup, go for Xeon E5-2600v3, AMD Zen2, or newer. While there’s no strict cap on cores, running with fewer than four can noticeably impact performance. The CPU needs to support Intel VT-d or the equivalent AMD technology. Check your BIOS to make sure this feature is switched on. |
|---|---|
| Memory |
At least 32G of DDR4 or more recent memory Although there’s no official minimum, the system footprint sits around 4GB. |
| Disk |
An SSD or NVME drive with 64G or larger capacity It’s ideal to have two physical disks installed and set up in a mirror configuration. |
Software Requirements
You’ll need Ubuntu 22.04 or later. Debian 11 or newer is also supported, though we’ve run fewer tests on it.
