DaDesktop

Privacy Policy

NobleProg Ltd., incorporated in England and Wales, operates under the name DaDesktop. Should you have any queries regarding this policy or our data privacy practices, feel free to contact us via email at dd@nobleprog.co.uk

At DaDesktop, we take the privacy of our users seriously. This policy outlines the ways in which we gather and process your personal data, as well as the safeguards we implement to keep your information secure.

Services

DaDesktop can be delivered from a NobleProg data centre located in the EU, with the following hosting options:

We only gather and process personal data as needed to deliver our services, and for the legitimate reasons outlined in this policy. It’s essential to understand that how data is collected and stored varies significantly based on the hosting option you choose.

NobleProg hosted public server

This option uses a NobleProg data centre in the EU (GDPR compliant). It’s a shared infrastructure used by multiple NobleProg clients and is accessible by NobleProg.

If you opt for a server outside the EU, the laws of that location may apply. For UK-based customers, data is kept within the UK.

NobleProg hosted private server

This server is also located in a NobleProg data centre in the EU. It is a dedicated machine reserved exclusively for a single organisation, with no other party sharing the hardware.

If you opt for a server outside the EU, local legislation may come into effect.

On premise server

The server is situated at the organisation’s own physical site. The DaDesktop software is installed there, and all data stays entirely under that organisation’s control.

Data categories

Below are the types of data we collect:

User account / personal data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Accessing DaDesktop requires you to create an account.
  • When you sign up for an account, you’ll share certain personal information like your name, email address, username, and password.
  • We gather this information because it’s essential for granting you access to our platform and ensuring its security.
  • Your data may be used to send you account-related communications.
  • We keep your account information for as long as your account remains active.
  • You can close your account at any point, and upon cancellation, we delete your account data.

  • Clients can either handle user management on their own or ask NobleProg to manage users for them.
  • The server can be encrypted so that NobleProg cannot access it.

  • No data is gathered or retained.
  • NobleProg does not have any access.

Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Everything that happens in the Training Room can be observed by the course instructor, training management, and our technical support team.
  • This monitoring allows us to allocate adequate data resources, helps you receive assistance with issues, lets instructors and management track training progress, and ensures that our Terms of Service are followed.
  • Our terms of use forbid any personal activities, like accessing social media, carrying out financial transactions, or browsing for personal reasons.
  • All data is removed once the course is marked as ‘completed’.

  • The client is fully responsible for managing all collected and stored data.

  • NobleProg does not have any access.

Video / Audio Data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • DaDesktop may include a built-in audio/video function.
  • This feature runs on NobleProg’s own infrastructure, not third-party software.
  • For troubleshooting, course desktops—including Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participant sessions—may be captured visually. No audio is recorded. These video recordings are permanently deleted 14 days after the course finishes. Access is limited to NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin privileges.

  • The client handles all collected and stored data.
  • Course desktops and recordings can be captured for troubleshooting and other needs (similar to the Shared Server setup). The client is accountable for these recordings, and an automatic deletion process removes them after 14 days.

  • No data is gathered or retained.
  • NobleProg does not have any access.

Record Feature

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Clients can opt to record the course desktop.
  • When recording is activated, NobleProg stores the video and has the ability to monitor it. The account holder decides when to delete it.
  • Should the account be cancelled, all related recordings are automatically deleted.

  • Clients may choose to record the course desktop.
  • All recorded and stored data is under the client’s management.

  • NobleProg does not have any access.

Technical Support

When you reach out for technical assistance, you’ll need to supply certain personal details such as your name, employer, email address, phone number, time zone, and a description of the issue. We use this information to resolve your problem and to gain insight into the common challenges our users face. All support is handled in-house within NobleProg.
